Technical Conditions for Configuration of AWP in Spain

Type B is the Classification of Slotmachines with Prize in Spain (AWP). They must be programmed according to regulation in each region. There are 17 Autonomous Communities in Spain, each of them has its own regulation on gaming machines.

Type B machines can be grouped in two big groups: double stake and triple stake. However, small technical differences can exist among communities with regulations of the same group.

There are also “ Special Machines for Gaming Arcades”. Those machines must fulfil the same conditions as Type B machines but they have higher betting possibilities and maximum win. They can only be installed in gaming arcades.
