There will be also a reduced tax rate for companies who don’t reduce number of employees throughout 2010. The causes of tax reduction is, on the one hand, to increase the amount of prizes intending to make the game more attractive and on the other to mitigate effects of the crisis the sector is facing, which has been reflected in closing of many halls and loss jobs, a situation aggravated by international economic crisis. Thus, the total prize percentage was increased by 1% per cent to reach 67%. This amount will be used to pay the winning combinations (bonus and additional numbers). This Order shall enter into force on January 1st, 2010. |
The Law 6 / 2009, dated 15 December on Fiscal and Administrative Measures for 2010, amended the bingo tax so that, after its entry into force, quantities obtained by players as prizes can be deducted.
