 In the Oficial Gazette of Extremadura (DOE No. 106) has been issued Decree 117/2009 of May 29, by approving the Regulations on gaming machines and video-arcade game and leisure centers in the Autonomous Community of Extremadura, of which it's already published fundamental changes.The need to update the regulation is given by the evolution of technologies that use the machines, as well as need to simplify administrative procedures. The specific regulation of the gaming sector mean to have a rule that attempts to reconcile the concerns of sector, as far as possible, with the guidelines that should make the administration of the Autonomous Region in terms of social and other interests of any kind that are affected by the problems inherent to the game. It is, therefore, by this regulation pretending to unify the existing regulations on the matter, bring it to the principles of the Act in question in order to obtain a comprehensive regulation of gaming machines sub-sector, comprising the general provisions of the authorization system, regulation of the characteristics and technical requirements of the different types of gaming machines, including the average and maximum duration of the party security reasons, both administrative records of various models of machines such as gaming companies, premises authorized for operation, operating system and installation of machines and operators, as well as inspection, violations and sanctions. With this new regulation is intended to improve administrative control that should be have such activities, increasing, on the other hand, the necessary guarantees to be met by the companies relating to gambling. |
