Carroll Consulting was founded in January 2008 by Mr. John Carroll who has over fifteen years of experience in the industry. Carroll Consulting offers three key services – sales and marketing support, public relations and advertising and thirdly – translations. It is the public relations service that has grown in particular. Mr. John Carroll comments, “The industry magazines play an important role. I found and continue to find that major companies are underrepresented or not represented in the way they should be. I often posed myself the question how PR agencies can touch the soul of readers without the necessary industry knowledge. Thus, I have combined my knowledge and experience with previous journalistic and linguistic training to offer this niche service. Advertising is one thing but being present with press releases is another. With my sales and marketing background my focus is also on presenting meaningful press releases that the sales team can use as a sales tool”. Carroll Consulting is the agent for Shades Screenprint in Continental Europe. Shades has over thirty years of experience in the industry, providing an extensive range of print solutions. Customers can choose from a wide range of print material, such as glass (for classic single-site AWP’s), acrylic (popular on multi-game slots) and naturally labels. Shades combines a series of technologies to stand out in the market place – from traditional screenprint to digital and now to lambda. Mr. Martin Charlesworth, Sales Manager at Shades, explains, “We are very pleased to inform the market that we now offer lambda printing. This photo quality printing is standard on most casino slots. That means that offering this service now offers a new market for Shades – namely casino slots – besides our traditional AWP and amusement machine print services”. Carroll Consulting has purposely included translations in its product portfolio. The gaming and amusement markets are truly international and stating a company message in a local language is a key requirement. Carroll Consulting has teamed up with a proven translation bureau to cover all languages. “Myself, I do the German to English translations. That’s my personal strongpoint in translations. I’m proud to have gained the trust of Gauselmann for these translations”, Mr. John Carroll explains.
