| EAG on the path to success |
|
David Pegler, MD of Excel London says “ExCel is home to some big exhibitions and has seen some ambitious show launches in its time but EAG Expo is the biggest first time event that we have ever welcomed. It’s definitely a record breaker for us. We are enormously proud that EAG Expo has chosen ExCel and we look forward to welcoming an international crowd for a great start to the New Year”. And it is not just size that promises to make EAG Expo a great show. With more than 100 exhibitors demonstrating the products of more than 180 companies, it is the largest dedicated amusement show to take place in London. Visitors will be able to see the latest products for every aspect of the amusements market including redemption, video, low stakes gaming, automated casino, pinball, darts, pool, music, kiddie rides and the list just goes on and on. In addition a huge range of events will be taking place that means the show the will have something for everyone. Seminars will be staged in a dedicated theatre covering topics such as Financing and Redemption. There will be meetings and gatherings for a range of trade bodies and trade associations such as BACTA, BALPPA, EUROMAT and the IOA. There are bars ad restaurants in the hall for visitors and exhibitors to socialise during the day and of course there will be an enormous range of parties and gatherings during the evenings starting off with the shows big party on the first night which will take place aboard the Dixie Queen paddle boat which will moor in Queen Victoria docks right along side the expo hall. “EAG Expo was planned to be a ‘happening’, not just an exhibition.” says Martin Burlin of the EAG Expo organising committee. “In launching EAG Expo we wanted to create an event that would put some spirit and some fun back into the London show and I think that is just what will happen. I am looking forward to meeting friends and colleagues from all over the world and to having a great time. I can’t wait”.
